im SOOO sleepy. 9am. I slept a total of ~5 hours last night in three parts. My hubby is so positive. When he gets only a short amount of sleep, he reports it by rounding up to the next hour! Talk about glass half full! On a related note, this morning, he was singing Baby Beluga in the shower super loud!! It was adorable and I think he should get Father of the Year for that random act of adorable and dedicated parenthood. He reports that William smiled at him 4 times last night (since 4am).
William is crying less which is great. He's a baby so he cries a lot, but not as much as he was two weeks ago. I think he's staging out of the PURPLE crying phase (and into the Total-Milk-Monster phase!!! He eats SO much) We have his doctor's appointment today. Oh my gosh I'm so excited to find out how much he's grown. They will measure his head circumference, his length, and his weight! He's gunna rock this appointment, I just know it! My little rock star <3
I'm thrilled that my in-laws will be visiting soon for a few reasons. Selfishly, it means that I can sleep and get things done! Also, it's Dom's 30th next week so it will be wonderful to celebrate with him. And seeing William through their eyes is such a thrill - it's so refreshing to see someone else incredibly enamored by William. It's really wonderful to share in our admiration of him. He's so perfect and amazing.
Blair is coming too for two days! I'm definitely going to get her help with decorating! and I bet she'll even stay up late with William so I can sleep. Blair is a real team player - she's always ready to help! Plus, I'm 99% sure she's gunna cry like a baby when she sees her beautiful nephew.
William has given me two brilliant smiles this week...like ear to ear smiles! It feels like the sun is shining in the night time. It's SO beautiful. It takes me breath away.
