a thank you note

I wanted to post this note I wrote this evening.

Hi Robin, 

I already took the opportunity to thank Mrs. K, but I finally acquired your email address and wanted to reach out to you as well.  You were SO SO kind to get me those BEAUTIFUL crib toys.  I've seen many little babies (and heard mothers complain) that babies always play with the tags on items and ignore everything else... so his tag laden caterpillar is WONDERFUL and while he only looks and bats at it now, I know he will come to love all the colorful tags!  He really does look at the bright colors (a new thing he's doing this week!)  

Also... I was really really REALLY insanely tired yesterday so I went online to look for help with infant sleep... specifically what to do with an infant who makes elephant noises in his sleep.  People were writing about the lamb you and Mrs. K got for us... well it turns out that lamb you got for us has a wonderful function that I didn't know about.  I had it turned onto sample mode where it only played a short sample of each sound clip... when I found the regular setting... it now plays for fifteen minutes until William falls asleep!!!  He's sleeping right next to me now!  Sound asleep <3 Like a little angel!  I have one or two more chores to do while I pump and then I might even attempt to sleep myself!  I still have a little PTSD from being woken up by warthog noises in the middle of the night (despite making these noises... William continued to sleep!! right through it!!)
